'Golden Sensation' (Neva Sexton, R. 1967). Seedling# 60-56. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-Y1F, Deep yellow self; ruffled. 'Moon River' X 'Rainbow Gold'. Sexton 1967. Honorable Mention 1969.

From AIS Bulletin #185 April 1967. Introducing GOLDEN SENSATION, (Neva Sexton '67). (MOON RIVER X RAINBOW GOLD) M. 34". Wide petaled and ruffled deep yellow self with heavy substance. Standards are closed and falls are semi-flaring. Well-branched stalks with many blooms. This is my yellow seedlmg that did so well in the Presby Gardens in 1966. Seedling 60-56. Received 18 HC votes in 1966. $25.00. Sexton's Iris Garden.
