From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: GOLDEN PROMISE (Neeley). S. citron-yellow; F. chrome, tinted lavender, bronze markings at the base. Bright orange beard. The flower has good substance, is an erect grower and blooms profusely. While the F. are not pure yellow like Amber, yet on account of its greater size this variety has probably more merit as a landscape variety. $5.00 |
