2000, Tasco

'Golden Panther' (Richard Tasco, R. 2000). Seedling 94-30-30. TB, 34" (86 cm). Midseason bloom. Gold overlaid bronze, highlighted darker bronze at edges; style arms bronze gold, edges lighter lemon yellow; beards bright golden orange; heavily ruffled. 'Guadalajara' X seedling 90-02-03: ('Marsh Light' x 'Dazzling Gold'). Superstition 2000. Honorable Mention 2002; Award of Merit 2004; President's Cup 2004; Wister Medal 2006; American Dykes Medal 2009.

Heavily ruffled gold with a bronze overlay, darker bronze highlights at edge; bright golden orange beard. A uniquely different shade with up to 11 buds, sometimes with triple sockets. (Guadalajara X 90-02-03: (Marsh Light x Dazzling Gold). $40.00. Superstition Iris Gardens.
