From Treholme Gardens catalog 1931: GOLDEN HARVEST (Sass, J. 1929) E.82, G.84, E., 30". S. olive yellow, lavender-blue undertone at haft; F. citron yellow, with an undertone of old gold, venation lighter; prominent orange beard. A medium sized flower of good form and finish.
From Sass catalog, 1937: GOLDEN HARVEST (Jacob Sass, 1930)- Our first yellow fall blooming intermediate. S olive yellow, bluish at the haft. F yellow citron, haft sulphur yellow, striped white and with a brown and bluish sheen. Distinct orange beard. Always a surprising and cheerful note in the fall. $1.00
