'Golden Blaze' (Grant Mitsch, R. 1956). TB, 32" (81 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-Y1, Buff-gold, tan venation. 'Hermit Thrush' X 'Inca Chief'. Schreiner 1956.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: GOLDEN BLAZE (Mitsch '56) M. 34 in. Hermit Thrush x Inca Chief. A very large flat flower with closely domed stands, this is a self of dark glowing burnished gold. Showy. 2.50.
