1955, Brummitt

'Golden Alps' (Leonard Brummitt, R. 1952). TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-Y3, Bitone, creamy white and deep yellow. Selected for Wisley Trials 1952, under name Excelsior which was not available. 'Admiration' x seedling. Tell 1955. British Dykes Medal 1957.

Golden Alps.jpeg
From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: GOLDEN ALPS (Brummitt I 955) ML. 36 in. (Admiration x ?). A cream and yellow bicolor quite similar to Mystic Melody but with larger, brighter and more broadly petaled flowers. Fine. 12.00.
