'Gold Diggins' (Edgar Sellman, R. 1978). Seedling# E-33. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards aureolin yellow (HCC 3/2); falls white, slightly edged aureolin yellow, aureolin (3) haft and base; aureolin yellow beard. 'Debby Rairdon' X 'Reta Fry'. Sellman 1978.

From AIS Bulletin #229, Spring 1978 Introducing GOLD DIGGINS-Sdlg. E-33. TB, 38", M. (Debby Rairdon X Reta Fry). S. are yellow and closed. Horizontally flaring, white F. are slightly edged in yellow. Flowers are large. The center of the flower with hafts, stylearms and beard of brilliant gold is as alluring as the precious metal. $25.00. Sellman's Iris Gardens.
