From AIS Bulletin #217 April 1975 Introducing GLEAMING LIGHT-Sdlg. #6071D: (involved parentage). A crisp, sparkling white self. The full, rippled standards are domed, and the wide, ruffled and crimped falls are semi-flaring. The brilliant yellow fat beard on the white falls gives this iris its name. A graceful, beautifully poised flower on a strong well-branched stalk. Refer to the intriguing parentage in the check list. The breeding potentials are limitless. Midseason, 35". $25.00 .
