Donald Spoon, R. 1989). Seedling# 15A-11-88. TB, 32" (81 cm), Early bloom. Standards deep red purple (RHS 71A), prominent streaks and specks on edge; falls deeper red purple (79A), prominent streaks and specks on edge; fluted and ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance.

From AIS Bulletin #329 April 2003 Introducing Gladys Kelly (D. Spoon R.1989) TB, 34" (86 em), Ml. (Sdlg. # 15A-11-88). Ruffled and laced red-purple bitone (RHS 71A standards and 79A falls darker red-purple) with tangerine beards and lighter sun spray streak markings extending around the beards. Style arms are peachy-rose in color. Well branched stalks with 7 buds. Possesses bubble lace on the edges of the falls that makes uniquely pronounced lighter spots forming a lacy pattern on the underside of the falls. Hybridizers take note. Sweet fragrance. Fertile both ways. (Gentle Edith X Queen in Calico). $4. Winterberry Gardens. |
