From Tell’s Iris Garden catalog, 1958: GAY APPAREL (Carl C. Schirmer, St. Joseph, Mo.). Early-Midseason. 38 inches. (D. Hall's 44-39 : Overture x Chantilly) x (Pink Reflection). Gay, indeed, is this colorful laced novelty. Standards peachy-tan, falls blended violet,peach and blue. The falls flare almost horizontally. There are some reticulations at the hafts. Greatly admired at the 1955 Canadian Convention and awarded an H.C. in that year under number TB654. $20.00 |
