Standards dark red; falls darker burgundy red with velour sheen, haft markings yellow and purple; beards burnt gold, dark burgundy spoon or horn; ruffled, lightly laced; slight sweet fragrance. 'Sangre de Cristo' X seedling# 84-99-1: ('Sky Hooks' x black seedling, unknown). Comanche Acres 2000.
