'Gala Gown' (Mrs. P. E. Corey, R. 1958). Seedling# 111-T-1. TB, 35" (89 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-O1P, Melon color blended deep pink. (J. Buneaux x (pink seedling x 'Anthea')) X 'Pink Tea'. Corey 1959. High Commendation 1957, Honorable Mention 1959.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: GALA GOWN Corey '59) E.M. 36 in. Gay Promise x Pink Tea. A gorgeous melon pink self of large size with delightfully ruffled petals and semi-flaring form. The beard is rich melon pink and a silky finish accents the full, self colored flower. Very fine. H.M. 1959. 15.00.
