From Milliken Gardens catalog, 1955: GALA FINALE (DeForest)-H.C., A.I.S. '49. A rich yellow plicata so heavily overlaid with glowing Indian red as to appear red at first glance. 3 ft. $3.50.
From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: GALA FINALE DeForest 1950) M. 38 in. (Vision of Mirza x Firecracker). A pricata with a vivid yellow ground and overall markings and border of brilliant red. Appears to be a red self from a distance. H. M. 1952. 2.00.
