From AIS Bulletin #212 January 1974 Introducing FROST KISS '74. M. 41". #1-8D. $25.00. This I believe is the most delicate appearing plicata of pristine beauty that I have yet produced. It's APRIL MELODY parentage on both sides assures you of quality in texture, and a 3" wide fall. Tall and well-branched plant. Both standards and falls are a pure glistening white ground stitched with a very narrow mauve-violet rim on the falls, being slightly heavier on the standards. Stylearm crest is mauve-violet. Beard white tipped bright lemon-yello\v. Good grower. Gibson's Iris Garden. |
