2016/17, Blyth

'French Filigree' (Barry Blyth, R. 2015). Seedling# V250-1. TB, 38" (97 cm), Very early bloom. Standards opalescent white, slight plicata stitching mostly on inside; falls white, ³⁄₈˝ dotted and stitched lavender and burgundy, deeper violet-black hafts; beards mustard, tips gold. Seedling# T154-3: (seedling# R41-4, 'Stay Stylish' pollen parent, x seedling# R79-1, 'I’m A Hussy' sibling) X 'Brushwork'. Tempo Two 2016/17.

From Tempo Two catalog, 2016: FRENCH FILIGREE (Blyth 2016 Aust) VE 38”. Very close to an amoena plicata with just the faintest soft blue plicata markings on the standards, mostly on the inside. Falls are pure white with a 3/8” dotted edge of lavender and burgundy; violet black hafts. Beards are mustard tipped gold. It is a spectacular garden Iris with some show stems. Gorgeous!
