From Tempo Two catalog, 2014: FRENCH BUTTERFLY (Blyth 2014 Aust) VE-E 35”. The first plicata we have registered from our pink amoena line. This line has given us a number of interesting plicata patterns over the years but not always meeting all requirements for naming. This one does however and has super growth and branching. The standards are white and the falls are white with a heavy ¾” edge of violet stitching deepening to black violet towards the edge and the rest of the white area has dotting and lines of violet. There is also a wire edge of lilac around the very edge of the falls. Beards are old gold. Fertile and a good grower.
