Paul Black, R. 2013). Seedling# R142A. TB, 31" (79 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Standards dark purple base blending to light violet, darker purple veins extend from base outward to 1/2" buff laced band; style arms ecru, light violet ridge blending to silver-white edge; falls silver milk glass, bluish textured veins, 3/4" mid tan band, mid rose-amber throat; beards smoky tangerine in throat, tangerine in middle, warm white at ends, hairs based violet-blue; slight musky fragrance.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2013: FRED AND GINGER (Black ‘13) TB Midseason-Late 31” (79cm). What a lovely ensemble of grace, charm and elegance. Smoky purple standards blend to mauve-pink margins. Chalky light blue falls are banded cameo pink. Unique beards are half coral and half pale blue.
