From Sam Carpenter Garden catalog, 1925: FRANKLIN BEYNON -Medium height. S. broad and incurved, light rose; F. soft rose, white and yellow beard; extremely dainty and greatly admired. $2.50.
From Iris Fields catalog, 1927: FRANKLIN BEYNON (Perry, 1923). A dainty early free flowering variety. S. broad and incurved, light rose; F. soft rose with white and yellow beard. 2.00.
 
From Huron Valley Iris Gardens catalog 1928: FRANKLIN BEYNON (No. 152). This pretty variety was greatly admired at the late Chelsea Show. Producing its elegant flowers quite early. Medium height; S. broad and incurved, light rose; F. soft rose, white and yellow beard. Extremely dainty. $1.00.
