'Forever' (Larry Harder, R. 1975). Seedling# 74-27. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. White self; red beard. 'Flaming Heart' X 'Arctic Flame'. Maple Tree Gardens 1980. High Commendation 1979.

From AIS Bulletin #237 April 1980 Introducing FOREVER (Larry L. Harder). TB, 34", Midseason. This ruffled white iris has personality. One of those irises that is set apart in a crowd. The ruffling and fluting make it distinctive. The lacy edge adds that etheral quality to the heavy substance of the flower. Flared falls, domed standards. A light tangerine beard sets off the whiteness of the flowers. Good, heavy, ramrod stalks display the well-spaced flowers to advantage. Sdlg. 74-27: (Flaming Heart X Arctic Flame). HC 1979. $25.00. Maple Tree Gardens.
