From Quality Gardens catalog 1931: FLOREAL (Flo'-ray-al) (Du-nee') (Denis 1926) M. 40". A free flowering plant with strong fine stems, carrying very large flowers, magnificently colored. S. bluish lilac shading to bronzy yellow at the base with deep yellowish maroon reticulations; F. vinous violet shaded brown, with a bright Indian yellow beard. A wonderfully rich combination of yellow, dark brown and violet. The form is perfect and the colors deep, rich and unique. $1.25. |
