From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2005: FIRST PAGE - TB, 44" (112 cm), Midseason-Late. First Page is one of the crosses made to improve winter hardiness and disease resistance of the various forms of plicatas. Standards are light to medium mauve with softly contrasted butter-peach stylearms. Light pearl-mauve falls have red grape hafts with a few plicata marks. Medium orange beards highlight First Page. Growth is robust as one would expect from its parent Keeping Up Appearances. Show stalks have 4-5 branches and 13-15 buds. First Page is an exceptional parent. Sdlg.
