'First Flight' (Gordon Plough, R. 1956). Seedling# 5-65-21. TB, 33" (84 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-V1, Bishop's violet self (Wilson 34/3), yellow beard. 'Quest' X 'Cliffdel'. Eden Road 1957. Honorable Mention 1958.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: FIRST FLIGHT (Plough '57) M. 33 in. (Crinkled Sunset sib.). A near self of medium Bishops violet with a suffusion of buff throughout the standards. Ruffled and fluted as well as laced. H.M. 1958. 5.00.
