| From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: FENTON (Hort). S. lavender-blue; F. deeper, containing some purple; yellow beard. Very large bloom. I am anxious to get other growers’ experience with all the Hort or Newland varieties. Some of them have not impressed me as much in my own garden as they did when I saw them in Sir Arthur’s own garden in England. $5.00. |
