1962, Randolph

'Far Above' (L. Fitz Randolph, R. 1961). Seedling# 56-77-2. TB, 42" (107 cm), Late midseason bloom. Color Class-B1M, Medium blue self. 'Derwentwater' X 'South Pacific'. Randolph 1962. Honorable Mention 1965.

From AIS Bulletin #166, July 1962. Introducing Far Above (Randolph). A true blue self of medium hue (Wilson 42.3) and exceptionally fine, semi-flaring form. South Pacific X Derwentwater. Pleasing fragrance and completely winter hardy. Blooms later than most blues. 38 in. $15.00. Randolph Iris Garden.
