1970, Plough

'Extra Margin' (Gordon Plough, R. 1969). Seedling 62-137-3. TB, 32" (81 cm), Midseason late bloom. . Color Class-R4RVcm, Standards warm blend nearest Empire Rose; falls from near warm white around beard to rose-purple (533/3 to 533/2) toward tip; 3/8" border blending from light blue-brown to pansy violet blended with rich brown, some light haft striations; saturn red beard (13/1) deep in throat tipped cream. Seedling 59-267-6 'Kachina Doll' sibling x Gaulter seedling 56-20) X seedling 59-169-36 ('Pianissimo' x Mayberry seedling 56-9-1). Eden Road 1970.
