Bright purple self, Standards slightly lighter at base of midrib; falls darker at edges paling to almost white around beard; beards tangerine orange. Seedling QKF123-1-4-9: (seedling KF123-1: (seedling F123-1: ('Afternoon Delight' x 'Edna's Wish') x seedling F169-17) x seedling F169-17: ('Afternoon Delight' x seedling C142-7: ('Ringo' x seedling S916-1: ('Cranberry Ice' x 'Grand Waltz')))) X 'Chasing Rainbows'. Cooley 2005.

From Cooley's 2005 Catalog:

"Bold bright color in this vivid purple iris. Bright purple on both standards and falls with a blended white flash around the beard. Darker edges. Big ruffles over all. Tangerine beards on our sweetie. 7-9 buds."
