From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog, 1956: EVERYTHING NICE (Tompkins 1956) M. L. 36 in. Rio Valley x (Technicolor x Twilight Sky). One of our favorites, a large flower with the lovely form of Rio Valley, this has the same sleek finish and broad fluted petals. The color is a uniform shade of the deepest copper brown imaginable and is further heightened by a large flame like signal of brilliant blue at the tip of the copper gold beard. A good grower, with strong well branched stalks, this seems to have everything nice that it needs. 2.00 |
