From Quality Gardens catalog 1931: EVENING GLOW (Tuthill 1928) M. 36". S. and F. pale silvery lavender blue. Splendid orange beard. The lower part of the haft is an irridescent combination of lavender, pink and orange, giving the flower an opalescent effect. The foliage is a peculiar shade of gray green which combines beautifully with the coloring of the flower. $1.00. |
