1974, Zurbrigg

'Eva Louisa' (Lloyd Zurbrigg, R. 1973). Seedling 68-76. TB, height 36" (91 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards white with pink brushings; Falls same; tangerine beard. Seedling 66-17: ('Silver Peak' x Shoop seedling 58-3: (('Spindrift' x ('Spindrift' x 'Floradora')) x (('Jeb Stuart' x 'Floradora') x ('Spindrift' x 'Floradora')))) X 'Emma Louisa'. Avonbank 1974.

From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing EVA LOUISA-Amazing color break from a TB amoena X Emma Louisa. Lovely white with areas of pink, constant. Excellent stalks, 36". Nonremontant here. Fertile both ways. All siblings were bicolors. Beard orange-pink. Sdlg. 68-76-FIRST. $30.00. Avonbank Iris Gardens.
