'Ernell' (Eleanor Murdock, R. 1950). TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-RH, Light-red self. 'Lights On' X 'Redwyne'. McKee 1953.

From AIS Bulletin #133, April 1954: ERNELL (1953) Murdock/McKee. (Lights On x Redwyne). A light red self. The lightest shade of red we have seen in any iris to date. 36" stalk. $7.00.
