From AIS Bulletin #262 July 1986 Introducing ELSIEMAE NICHOLSON $30.00. (Glenn F. Corlew 1986). A luscious blending of pink with creamy peach and apricot make this beauty a satisfying visual experience. The bright red beard serves as a fitting exclamation point. Flower parts are broadly formmed and the size is in keeping with stalks that are unusually tall for a member of the pink group. Strong healthy plants, but not rapid of increase. Awarded an EC at the 1985 Mt. Diablo Show. Seedling #11 06-1 B. 36". Midseason to Late. (Storybook X Mais Oui). Cherry lane Gardens. |
