Awaiting original catalog description |
In the afternoon we visited Mr. W. S. Snyder's gardens. He is a courtly, kind, very generous gentleman. I bought his new Eligible. It is a velvety red—good, with fair branching. It will make a beautiful garden clump. [Reynolds, Mrs. Leo F., Tennessee (1949). Coming Events Cast Their Shadows, American Iris Society Bulletin 116 (January 1950), 25-26.] |
