1948, Gersdorff

'Eleria' (Charles Gersdorff, R. 1948) TB. Midseason bloom. Color Class-R9L. 'Shira' x 'Hoosier Sunrise'. Slight fragrance. No record of being introduced.

An earlier seedling by Gersdorff was registered in 1934 with the same name but different parentage, 'Mrs. W. Cuthbertson' x 'Ch'enyaun'. May never have been introduced into commerce before 1939. (Peckham, p. 208). Obsolete—no longer in commerce. (1949 CL, p. 95).
