1975, Jack

'Electron' (Charles Jack, R. 1972). Seedling J68-40A. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason late bloom. Standards rose-violet Falls slightly darker; bronze beard. 'El Cid' X ( 'Gracie Pfost' x (seedling J66-49: 'Olympic Torch' X 'Ultrapoise')). Starbright 1975.

J68-40A: (EI Cid: ((Oaken Bucket: (Hooker 260 #56-80: Snow Flurry x Pacemaker)F3 x (((Black Cherry x H 56-80) x Ebony Echo) x Gracie Pfost) X ((Gracie Pfost x (J 66-49: Olympic Torch x Ultrapoise). An ultra bright red-violet that immediately reminds one of royalty. Satin textured standards of very bright rose-violet. Lovely form with wide, velvety finished falls, which are slightly deeper in color. Distinctly unique. Limited stock. Net $25.00. Starbright Gardens.
