'Electric Shock' (Virginia Messick, R. 1995). Seedling M87-37. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards white, washed dark blue; falls white, washed blue; beards dark blue; ruffled; sweet fragrance. 'Olympiad' X 'Cosmic Dance'. Messick 1996. Honorable Mention 1999; Award of Merit 2002.

From AIS Bulletin #301 April 1996 Introducing ELECTRIC SHOCK (Messick '96) TB, 36", M87-37 (Olympiad x Cosmic Dance). Very ruffled white with broad deep wash of deep blue up the haft and down along midrib of falls. Finished off with dark blue beards. Difficult to describe, but could have been named Star Crossed, since from a distance, it does resemble a star. The dark blue on white falls form a unique star pattern. Very contrasty, nicely ruffled and fragrant. $35.00. Messick Garden.
