From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: EGLAMOUR (Hort 1921). A very large and well-formed purple bicolor that is vigorous and sturdy, with very stout, stiff stems. Rated abroad as one of the best Irises. $5.00 each.
From Bonnewitz catalog, 1926: EGLAMOUR (Hort) $10.00 This is one of the new Hort varieties which multiplies very slowly in our garden. It is a huge and very well formed flower of purple bi-color. We hope to give a better description after the blooming season.
