From Melrose Gardens catalog, 1957: EDWARD OF WINDSOR (Morris '45) 34 Uniform shade of shell pink, slight grey cast in falls. $1.00.
From the British Iris Society checklist: TB, late bloom, Color Class R4L. Shell pink, slight grey cast in fall. Yellow plicata seedling x yellow plicata seedling. Wallace 1945. Introduced commercially. Note: 1949 Checklist has the name as 'Edward Windsor'.
