'Ebony Dream' (Harold Stahly, R. 1993). Seedling 86-1. TB, 33" (84 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards deep violet black; falls slightly deeper; beards black; ruffled. 'Superstition' X 'Black Flag'. Stahly 1993.

From AIS Bulletin #289 April 1993 Introducing EBONY DREAM (Stahly '93) TB, 33", EM. Deep, deep violet-black with self beards. Standards virtually as dark as the falls. A full flower with wide, round falls that are quite flared. Nicely ruffled, good branching, super clean, a good grower and fertile. Sdlg. 86-1: Superstition X Black Flag. $30.00. Harold Stahly.
