| From Milliken Gardens catalog, 1948: EARLY SPRING (Milliken) There were few varieties in bloom in our gardens this spring when Early Spring was in full bloom, and none in the darker, richer colors. It has been consistent in its performance every spring. The flaring six-inch flowers are blue-violet, the standards slightly lighter than the rich velvety falls. 3 feet. $2.50. |
