'Eagle's Wing' (Chun Fan, R. 1990). Seedling 86-36. TB, 40" (102 cm), Late bloom. Light violet blue; beards deep blue; slight fragrance. 'Navy Strut' X 'Song Of Norway'. Fan's Iris 1997.

From AIS Bulletin #305 April 1997 Introducing EAGLE'S WING (Chun Fan '97) TB, 40" (102 em), M-ML. Your attention is caught by what appears to be buffed silver glimmering in the sunlight. Then, as you peer closer, hints of soft violet can be seen in the silver gray self of this most elegant iris. Deep blue beards emphasize the silver texture. Excellent branching. 6-7 buds. Navy Strut X Song of Norway. $30.00. Fan's Iris Garden.
