2010/2011, Blyth

'Dreamalot' (Barry Blyth, R. 2009). Seedling O175-A. TB, 34" (86 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards creamy apricot, slightly deeper at base; Falls creamy apricot deepening at hafts, overall violet spray pattern; beards orange tangerine; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling M55-3, 'Astrobubbles' sibling, X 'Pirate Ahoy'. Tempo Two 2010/2011.

Hybridizer's comment: One of those outstanding and unusual patterns that show up occasionally. Usually they have poor form and are discarded, however this one is exceptional. Standards are creamy apricot, deepening slightly at the base while the falls are similar, deepening at the hafts and an overall spray pattern of violet all over the falls to within ½" of the edge. Beards are orange tangerine. Lovely balanced, wide, full form. Good branching. It is fertile and has given some good seedlings.
