From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: DRAKE (Bliss 1919) 8.2. A free-flowering Pallida, with well-shaped flowers of soft violet-blue. A fine garden variety of tall, vigorous growth. 36 inches. 60 cts. each; $1.50 for 3; $5.00 per doz.
 
From Movilla Gardens catalog, 1921: DRAKE. (Bliss 1919.) Color close to Pallida 'Dalmatica', but earlier and freer. A very free-flowering variety. 36 inches.
