'Dore' (Jacob Sass, R. 1935) 40", Late midseason bloom. Color Class-Y4L. Standards light yellow; Falls creamy white, gold veining on hafts, yellow/orange beard. 'Wambliska' x 'Rameses'. Slight fragrance. Maple Road Garden(J.Sass) 1935.

From Maple Road Garden list for 1935: DORE (32-50) (J. Sass, 1935) — S, baryta yellow darkening to Empire yellow at claw. F, white with light yellow sheen. Haft heavily veined Empire yellow. Deep yellow beard. A yellow stripe extends along the edge
of the falls. Large flower on 37-inch well branched stalks. $10.00.
