From Movilla Gardens catalog, 1921: "DELICATISSIMA. (Millet, about 1914.) Large flower of delicate lilac-color. Not to be confused with an old variety of the same name.
From Campos Altos Iris Garden, 1924: Delicatissima. (Millet). Rating: 82 — A fine smooth flower of pale lilac. Late. 3 ft. Each, $1.50.
From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: DELICATISSIMA (Millet 1914) 8.2. S. lobelia blue, clouded rose; F. companula-violet, shading to lilac-a beautiful, delicate pinkish coloring that is most pleasing. Fine, broad foliage and strongstems. 36 inches.$1.00 each.
