■(TB) 'Deft Touch'

1977, Tompkins

'Deft Touch' (Chet Tompkins, R. 1977). TB, 39" (99 cm), Midseason to very late bloom. Heavily ruffled blend of mellow glow and sunray gold with icy peachglow pink and ivory undertone, deepening to apricot-pink on each side of red-toned orange beard. From long line of seedlings involving 'Tinsel Town', 'Charmaine', 'Maudie Marie', 'Pink Pussycat'. Cooley 1977.

This Iris is in Europe also under the false name 'Delft Touch' in Trading (Delft = a City in the Netherlands)
