From Tells Iris Garden catalog, 1947: DAWN OVERLAY 44-41 Muhlestein (Camelina x City of Lincoln) A tawny buff-yellow self of cellophane-like appearance with a flush of cinnamon and very pale lavender over the entire flower. Falls flare horizontally. The substance appears very thin, but the flowers hold their shape and color to the last even in hot weather. We know of nothing like it. Midseason.
