From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: DAWN CREST (De Forest '60) M. 36 in. (Frances Kent x Apple Valley sib.). A new bitone from Kent lines, with rich apricot orange, pink flushed standards and lemon yellow gilt touched falls. Large and showy. A.M. 1962. 15.00.
Cooley's Gardens 1965. Considered by the late Fred DeForest as one of his all time finest productions. Standards are bright orange-pink, three inches wide, and ruffled. Falls, yellowish ivory, measure a good three inches at the haft and are flaring. Up to nine flowers per 3-foot well branched stem. HM AIS, 1960; AM 1962.
