Standards cold white ground peppered dark purple, more solid at top with black highlights, slight purple midrib; style arms light golden tan, violet-purple along ridge, plum-purple styles, purple under stigmatic lip; Falls cold white ground peppered dark purple, more solid at edge with black highlights, very slight purple center line; beards hairs based white with light yellow tips in throat and middle, ends lavender-purple, inconspicuous; lightly ruffled; medium purple based foliage; slight sweet fragrance. From Superstition Iris Gardens 2017 cataloge - DARK STORM (Tasco 2017) TB, 36", M. Seedling 11-TB-32-05. Cold white ground standards peppered dark purple, more solid at the top with black highlights, slight purple midrib. Cold white ground falls peppered dark purple, more solid at edges with black highlights, very slight purple centerline. White based beards, light yellow in middle and throat at lavendar purple at the end. Show stalks have up to nine buds, medium purple bases foliage. Lightly ruffled flowers have a very light sweet fragrance.
