'Dark Combat' (George Poole, R. 2012). Seedling HH-8-2. TB, 47 (119 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards dark blue-violet (RHS 86A); style arms same, lighter on edges; falls dark red-violet (83A), white background around beard; beards dark red-violet becoming yellow-orange in throat, lighter tips; entire flower overlaid with green gold sheen; slight sweet fragrance. 'Badlands' X seedling BB-1-2: (seedling T-9-1: (seedling H-9-7C: (seedling B-6-8: ('Brave Viking' x 'Marion Maid') x 'Sada Vaughn') x ' Five Star Admiral') x 'Aaron’s Bluebells'). Redbud Lane 2013.
