'Crystal Plumage' (Paul Black, R. 2005). Seedling# J55A. TB, 37" (94 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards light orchid at base blending to pale orchid; falls icy white tinted palest violet, rosy blush in throat; beards white tipped tangerine; ruffled; slight spicy fragrance. 'Lightning Bolt' X 'Intimidator'. Mid-America 2005.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2005: CRYSTAL PLUMAGE - TB, 37" (94 cm), Early-Midseason. Crystal Plumage has form and finish that is close to perfection. Standards are domed and falls gently arched with even, lilting ruffles. Standards have light orchid bases blended into pale orchid. Falls are icy white tinted palest violet with a rosy blush over the hafts. An opalescent finish gives lovely depth to these soft colors. White beards are blushed soft tangerine in keeping with the simplicity of these flowers. Show stalks have 3 well-placed branches and 9 buds. Growth is strong and vigorous.
